You asked for it, and we're bringing them back! Wednesday, February 6, 9pm, at the Gordon Best Theatre, $10 at the door.Twilight Hotel

With a new album released just days before the show, Twilight Hotel are storming through Canada with one thing in mind - to seduce you with the most beautiful, heart-pounding, soaring harmonies, sway-and-sizzle night of music that you're going to see in 2008. Anyone who saw them on the festival main stage in 2007 will tell you that these two talented singer-songwriters will leave you breathless.

Opening for Twilight Hotel, our very own Dave and Kelly, back for one night only! The Ptbo Folk Festival's 2007 Emerging Artist Award winners, ready to rock you in the sweet, sweet arms of music.

The get-up-on-your-feet hit of the main stage was Shad K.
With his positive attitude, fabulous DJ Teelo, and great rhythms, we've been hearing for weeks how much you enjoyed his set. With increasing buzz surrounding his brilliant debut record and memorable performances, the future appears to hold no limits for this thoughtful, young emcee as he relases a new CD and takes Canada by storm.

Everyone is invited to hear our year-end report; members are eligible to vote. Any person who has volunteered for the festival over the past two years (2006-2007) is a member. Anyone interested in standing for the 2007-2008 Board of Directors must contact the PFF before October 31, 2007.

Friday, August 24 - Sunday August 26, 2007: The Peterborough Folk Festival!

One last sweet summer weekend of live music and food and crafts, all in the heart of Beautiful Peterborough.

Friday August 24, 2007: Gala Latina with Samba Squad, The Market Hall, $25. Bring out your dancing shoes - the colourful thirty-plus member drum group performs a variety of samba-based West African, Caribbean and Afro-Cuban styles of Carnival rhythms on traditional Brazilian percussion instruments and has become one of the most exhilarating live music experiences in Canada. Saturday August 25: Club Crawl -
Five venues, 15 bands, $15. Crawl along with us through the best clubs, pubs and restaurants in the downtown, and hear some of the best live music on earth.

Free, live music all day long. Craft vendors, food vendors, workshops, a children's village, and five stages all on the shores of the mighty Otonabee River. This is a rain-or-shine event. Parking is available at Nichol's Oval.
